--DH Willie Aybar was activated off the disabled list and had a double. He had been sidelined since April 10 with a sore left hamstring.
--1B Carlos Pena failed to put the ball in play in the third inning, striking out with the bases loaded and one out. Moments later, 3B Evan Longoria grounded into a fielder's choice to end the threat.
