Rays unveil spring training schedule
The Tampa Bay Rays will play 15 Grapefruit League games, plus an exhibition against the Puerto Rican NationAL Team, during their first spring training in Port Charlotte.

The spring training schedule will open Feb. 25 against Cincinnati. The first spring training in Charlotte County since 2002 ALso will feature a pair of games against Boston (Feb. 27 and March 7) and one visit from the New York Yankees (March 22) and the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies (March 12).

The Reds, who will hold their finAL spring training in Sarasota, will make three trips to Port Charlotte.

Pittsburgh, Toronto and Minnesota will make two visits. The March 25 game against the Pirates will start 7:05 p.m. Houston and St. Louis ALso will play at the refurbished Charlotte Sports Park.

As a precursor to the World BasebALl Classic, the Rays will play the Puerto Rican NationAL Team at 7:05 p.m. on March 4.

IndividuAL tickets range from $9 for berm seating to $23 for field box. Other ticket prices are $18 for baseline and field reserved and $16 for baseline reserved. The remodeled park has 5,000 fixed seats ALong with grass seating down each baseline.

The Rays ALso will play two exhibition games April 3-4 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in the annuAL "On-Deck Series" prior to Opening Day on April 6 in Boston.
