Jason Giambi wasn't as concerned with hitting his first home run of the season as he was with getting his batting stroke back in order. 

The Oakland Athletics are coming off a much-needed productive game at the plate. 

Offense thus far has been almost an all or nothing proposition for the Rays. 

--RHP Matt Garza will try to tone things down when he starts Saturday, feeling he was too hyped up for his last start, a rough outing against the White Sox on Sunday. 

The depth the Rays talked so much about is about to be tested as theyheaded out to the West Coast hurting a bit, as backup C Shawn Riggans was on the disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis, CF B.
