 Without getting to the World Series, Red Sox players still did pretty well financially from Baseball's postseason. The team's losers share from the American League Championship Series amounted to $102,230 per man, according to the commissioner's office. The Sox awarded 45 full shares, 15.7 partial shares and another 15 cash awards. The Philadelphia Phillies, who defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series, got full shares worth $351,504 per man while the Rays' shares were worth $223,390 each.
