Sonny day: RHP Andy Sonnanstine will try to bounce back from the shortest outing of his career Tuesday in Baltimore, when he gave up seven runs and nine hits in just two innings. He is 0-2 with a 7.15 ERA in two starts against the Indians.

Debut time: LHP David Huff, called up from Triple-A Columbus, will make his major-league debut. Huff, the 39th overall pick in the 2006 draft, was 5-1 with a 4.35 ERA for Columbus.

RHP Joe Nelson introduced the Rays lineup on the Fox broadcast and, as promised, did so while imitating the voice of Bill Murray's character from Caddyshack (groundskeeper Carl Spackler). Some of his best were Matt "Spanish Fly" Garza and Evan "ROY" Longoria. Said Nelson: "It was a Cinderella story."
